William B is the story of Billy, a schoolboy who is average in everything except his imagination. Billy feels either bored or threatened. He is bored at school and bullied, bored at home and nagged. Billy’s only escape is in his fantasies where he imagines he is a star, a lone romantic hero, a brave courageous ‘modern-day knight’ who will conquer the heart of Beth, the new girl in town.
