William B

William B is the story of Will, a schoolboy who is average in everything except his imagination. Will feels either bored or threatened. He is bored at school and bullied, bored at home and nagged. Will’s only escape is in his fantasies where he imagines he is a star, a lone romantic hero, a brave courageous ‘modern-day knight’ who will conquer the heart of Beth, the new girl in town.
The problem is that Will is just as capable of dreaming himself into trouble as out of it.
William B is loosely based on ‘Billy Liar’ by Keith Waterhouse and is a play full of comedy, music and drama.
