Last Friday, I saw 'William B' with my school, Sint-Paulus. And I got to say: I really enjoyed it, and I'm hoping to see more of your plays! I'm so jealous of your accents.. P.S.: I was the girl in the front row, with the purple sweater :]”

“
Hi actors and actresses of the English Theatre Company! We saw the play 'William B' at school. I liked it very well. It taught it was hilarious. I hope I will see one of those plays again. I want to thank the actors who performed a role in this play for showing me such a good comedy. I also want to congratulate the playwright for writing such a good play. I don't know anything what can be better in this play. What I also liked where the different sorts of costumes and probs. Thank you for such an amusing play!

“
Hello actors of William B. I really enjoyed the play. It was very funny and interesting. The dialogues where really good. I also liked the story of a boy whose life is a mess but its becomes better and better. I think that this play was even better than last year MeTv. It was a really good comedy. The costumes where basic but nice I think. I also liked the props in the play. After that I had seen the play I was so happy that I had told it to my whole family. I enjoyed it very much ”

“
When we saw the play "William B", I liked it from the first minute! It was very funny and the actors performed it in an amazing way! They talked clearly and I could understand what they were saying very well. I saw clearly the difference between all the characters. When the actors were playing another character, they took another costume. I think that was a very good thing in this play. It was also funny that the actors didn't stay at the stage, but that they came into the audience! That was certainly very original! Allmost all the time I had to laugh. It was an amyzing play, from the beginning to the end. I think that everyone who saw this play, thinks that too.”

“
This play was really one of the best I've seen , it was very funny and the music was perfectly timed. Some people may relate to William because he is of course an average school boy and is being bullied like many teenagers around the world . In the show they show how to don't let yoursef be a punching bag and how your imagination can get you away from your stress and regular, boring , life. The bully , Dennis was really hilarious because he was so foolish and laughed in a really funny way. William was really funny because he was always so nervous and when he couldn't do anything, he imagined to be someone who could , like when he imagined to be James Bond or Edward ' Twilight ' Cullen . The funniest parts were when Dennis said " I can take anyone of these beautie... Never mind" and at the end when William started to sing along with the song . The play looked a lot like many movies i've seen because he can't get the girl of his dreams but she actually likes him a lot . And in the end he get's the girl after all the trouble he's been through .”

“
I thought the actors were very good. The way they performed their characters. The costumes were beautifull. I liked the Edward Cullen-hair. My favourite character was William, because he was always dreaming, and Dennis, because his laugh was verry funny. Actually I liked all the characters. But those two were my favourites. I liked it that there was not many audience participation. The music was well-chosen. I liked the performance and i'm going to take about it with my friends. Greets from Belgium ;-)”

“
I thought it was funny. I really have enjoyed the play, because I like comedies. I also have everything understood. I liked the music. They are also spontaneous. When they walked into the public,I liked that, but they don't have to pick my out,I really don't like that. I thought that the actress was very good. The others were olso good. Their english was very beautiful. I liked also the costumes. It's always fine that their is an happy end. ”

“
It was a good comedy. I like it very well. The person who played William is a good actor. I was laughing all the time. It was a typical situation, something you see almost every day. I understood most dialogue but sometimes the girl was talking too fast. The scene I like the most was when William dreamed about his family. His mother was an actress and his father was a racer. That was so funny! the costums were very beautiful!”

“
I thought the play was very good. I liked it! I thought the actors were very spontaneous. The play was a comedy and that's my favorite kind of plays. The actor who played 'Billy' was very funny! My favorite scene was the scene when 'Billy' dreamt he was 'James Bond'. It was funny with his cigar in his mouth. When he came of the stage to do something with the audience the audience was very enthusiast. Sometimes I couldn't understand what the actors were saying because at the end of the play they were talking faster as in the beginning. But still I thought it was very good!”

“
I really liked the play, witch was sadly to short. The funny stuff are when William had his dreams. The characters where good. The costumes could be a little better. The dialogues where original. I thought the best actor was the man who played William B. The scenes i liked where the dreams of William. I like the way he thinks, it's hilarious. Your English was understandable. Thanks for your play and hopefully you will come back next year.”

“
I really loved the play. I liked that the audience was involved. The actors seemed very spontaneous. I liked the costumes, the dialogues, I just liked everything. The best scene was when William was dreaming about his mother. I liked the jump William made when he was fighting with Dennis. I also liked the first scene because my mother also has to do it to me. Dennis was rather funny. He is this bad guy but at the same time he has this dry humour. I could understand everything. I liked the accent because you don't hear it very often. If they were performing in Belgium again then I would certainly come.”

“
Wiliam B was the best play that I saw from the Theatre Company so far! The actors performed very well! They were very funny! I laughed a lot! It was a funny and romantic play! I thought it was a good found story! About a boy with problems! Yes! that is a good contemporary story! The audience laughed a lot and me too! The costumes were well found! The dreams of William b were very funny and imaginative! Only there was no scenery but I thought the actors, actress, character and dialogue were very good! ”
22/11/2011 • Valerie Ghesquiere • Waasmunster (Belgium)
“
I really liked the play. I had a good laugh with almost everything. The actors were amazing and so were the costumes. The actors were very open to. I also really liked it that they came into the audience. It was perfectly for our age I think. I liked the character of Williams mom in his dream world. She was hilarious. I thought the best scene was the scene where William was dreaming about the day he met Beth, because it was so unrealistic. The bully was sometimes hard to understand because he spoke very quickly. ”
22/11/2011 • Febe De Ryck • Elversele (Belgium)
“
I liked the costumes they weared. The music was also pretty funny. Sometimes I was a little bit bored but that wasn't for long. The funniest scene was the James Bond imitation. I could easily understand the story. I think they should have used more props on stage. Sometimes the actors where talking a little bit too fast. The beginning of the play was a little bit complicated but after 5 minutes I understood It. Audience participation is something I don't like very much but they didn't use it much. It was a really funny performance.”
22/11/2011 • Jelle Van de Perre • Sint-Niklaas (Belgium)
“
It was a really good play with funny characters. The costumes were good and funny. I could hear the actors very good. The parts with the bully were funny. The dreams of William were funny too. It was funny when the audience could join the performance with the bully. Maybe you can use more props by the breakfast. The part when William was James Bond was very very funny. The music was good. I have only positive comments.”

“
I thought it was a good play. It was a really good comedy and I had a lot of fun with it. But at some moments, I didn't can follow anymore because it was a little bit to fast, I thought. There were a lot of good dialogues and costumes. The performance were really good. The scenery was a little bit restricted, but it was not so easy to make it better. Perhaps it can be with more props. I thought that it was really realistic. There were fantastic actors and a fantastic actress. But I really like the performances of the English Theatre Company and I hope i will see more plays of this company.”

I really like it ! It was just so funny ! i like the characters and they were very good actors ! What i didn't like so much was that they did get us out of the plubliek . I like Dennis the most ! He was very funny and agrassive . At the beginning of the play I thought it was too fast. I don't understand everything very well.William B was a funny boy and Beth was very cute. I really like the play !”

It was a very good play. I couldn't stop laughing because it was so funny. The character I love the most was William because he was always dreaming very funny things. The most funniest costume was Edward Twilight Cullen (his hair)! I loved it! The parents of William also where funny certainly when William was dreaming that his mother was a famous tennis player. I understoud everything very good. It wasn't very difficult to follow. It was really cool that you came off the stage. I really loved your Brittish accent. Greats”

“
'WilliamB' was a fantastic play and it was very funny too. The actor who played the character 'Willy' was very funny and knows his part very well. His dreams where the best of the performance. Certainly the James Bond part an the part of Edward Cullen. The actress was also very funny but somethimes her voice was too high. The actor who played Dennis spoke loud you understood him very well. He played a good bully. All the actors were fantastic. ”

I thought it is a really good play. It was a funny play, the audience laughed a lot. The actors performed theire role in the play very good. William was the most funny player. But his parents were also funny. William's father had very nice hear! I understood the performance good. They spoke good English and not too quickly. They didn't have an accent. I enjoyed the play. I hope that they come back next year to my school!”

“
I really thought that it was very original I never saw it before; it was very nice that the actors came in the audience. Last year we also had an English play but then the audience could join in with the performance and now we couldn't, that’s for some people maybe a bit pity because they really liked that. It was also a very funny play, there were just three actors but they played lots of different characters which was very good. I don't think that I could ever do that. William B changed in different characters in the play, into actors who are very famous at the moment and I think that that is very good too. The audience likes the play more then. The actors could express also emotions very well, when they shout they really shout loud. There wasn't really scenery so that was a little bit pity. But the costumes were really good! I think you guys did a very good job! ”

“
The play was in my opinion really good. I personally thought it was very funny. The actors and actresses did a really good job! I loved the story and I also liked it when the actor who played Billy hid in the audience. The costumes that the actors and actresses wore, were well-chosen. I really enjoyed the dialogues between Billy and Dennis or between Billy and his parents. The personalities of the characters were also well-expressed. What I also liked was the part when they made fun of Twilight. I can't think of anything I didn't like. So to get a long story short; the play was awesome! ”

It was a lot of fun. I liked his 'Edward Twiglight Cullen' imitation. Also his Justin Bieber act was fun. The voice of the actress was beautiful. she sang very well. The music matched the play. The hair of Edward were nice. In one sentence : 'It was absolutely awesome.'”

“
I found the theatre performance “William B” very good. The pronunciation was very clear, so you could understand them well. The story was realistic and well written. The end of the play was unexpected because there was a complete turnaround. In the beginning of the story, Dennis took advantage of Willy. He stole Willy’s homework and he got Beth’s attention. But at the end, Dennis was caught by Beth of stealing and he was noticed by Beth. Instead of always being in some kind of trouble, almost all the problems were over for Willy. Even his dreams were well found and fitted in well in the total picture. It was also clear when they were playing a dream or reality. I liked the happy end of the story. They performed it very well, with much empathy. In general it was fantastic!”

The playwright wrote a very good play. I liked to see this play. It's fine to see a performance in English. I didn't like that there were three actors, if there were more actors I think I like it more. But theye are good actors. The costumes were nice. It's a comedy play because everybody was laughing. The actors performed the play very well. They played their character very well. The dialogue was good, but sometimes I didn't hear what they said, because it was sometimes unintelligible.”

“
I think it was a very nice play. It was very funny when the actor played James Bond. What I didn't like was that when they were screaming you couldn't understand them. The costumes were very funny, sure Edward's costume. His hair was so hilarious! The actors played very good their character. William B's father was nice when he was reading the newspaper. It was fun that they do some audience participation. The fights between Dennis and William were very funny too. It was a very nice play!”

“
I really liked the play.It was very funny and I think it was better then the play that we saw last year.I think that the actors did a very good job because it must be difficult to play so many different characters. The dialogues were funny and I understood the actors very well. The actors also used the stage in a fun way especiallly in some moments. In the play I especially liked the comparison with twilight.Ofcourse I really liked the happy end. It's also a lot of fun when the audience can join the performance because were in Belgium not used to that.It was quite incredible that just three actors performed such a nice play.I really hope that if we see another play,it's going to be as nice as this one. And after seeing the play I was sad that it was over and I really want to see more plays.”

“
I truly liked the comedy. And I thought it was very funny. Sometimes I didn't understand the words, but it didn't realy metter. Also the way that the audience was involved with the play. The actors and actress could perform very well. The character of William I liked the most. They wore amusing costumes. And that made the play also very nice. There wasn't a big scenery, but it wasn't necessary. If I could, I would watch it again. I loved it.”

“
I liked the play William B, because it was verry funny. There were a lot of things which made us laugh. I liked the actors and the actress too, because they acted very good. I allso liked that the actors didn' t play just on the stage, but that they played between the audience too. There was a little audience participation too and I liked that very much. That' s not just looking and listening, but allso a little playing. I found that it was a good choice for playing a comedy, because I think that a lot of children likes laughing. I liked the characters, because they were very funny. They allso were wearing good costumes so that you could see who was who. I allso found that some of the costumes were very funny. So I found that the performance was very nice.”

The play was very funny play. I liked when an actor came by the audience, then I most laugh. I understood the play very good and the actors preformed the play in a very good way. They spoke clear and very good. I could see everything. I liked also the costumes of the actors. I found the character of Dennis very funny, his laugh was very funny. The play was not too long but also not too short, it was perfectly. I had to laugh all the time . It was a very good en nice play.”

I realy liked this play. I think the most of the students understood what the play was about. It was just on our level of english. The story was realy good and realy funny. The actors played there roles realy wel. I tought the actress who played William B his mom and Beth was amazing. I loved her expression. The play was very funny and also amusing. I tought that you maybe could include the audience a little bit more. But that is just one thing. But I realy enjoyed it!”

I found it very interesting because it also happens in the real life.It was funny when William came into the public, because Dennis was after him. William's dad and mother were always argueing,so that was amusing. Beth played also very well, but she has a high voice. Dennis looked very dangerous, like a normal bully. He also has a funny laugh. I was pleased that nobody needed to come on the stage. The players are really good actors. They can good express their emotions. So I liked it very much.”

“
I loved the play. It was funny and the actors and actress were very good and they did a great performance. I liked the dreampeaces in the play and the funny noices so we knew always what was happenning. The audience was very exciting and everyone was laughing. Before they start to speak, there was al lot of noice but when they start with their play, everyone listenned to the actors. there weren't many actors and that was somethimes confusing but with the help from the costumes was everything very clear! It was a very nice comedy and the actors played it very well. I could understand almost all of the words so i understand the hole play. I enjoyed the play and it was fun that we can play with the actors so we always had somthing to do. I like to see this again and I want to see more than just William B. I hope the other plays are even funny like William B. I've never seen a funny play like this”

Hello everybody, I liked this play very much. It was also very funny. What made this play so funny were the jokes and the way they played their role. I really enjoyed it and I found the last joke very funny. The actors really performed the play very good. I liked it too that they also did it with 'audience participation'. One little downside was that I didn't really understood them at the beginning. Later I understood everything. I also liked the props, because they were very funny. For the actors: I hope that this play is also a success on other places.”

I like the play, it was very funny. It were good and also funny actors. They could perform a play very well. It was nice that there was an audience participation in the play. Everybody laugh. When the actor (who played William B) had a daydream, there were also kind of special effect. William B dreamt a lot of funny things. When the bully menaces to hurt someone or try to make someone scare, the actor does it on a way what make it funny. I look forward to see another play, also funny. I hope that it wil also be realy nice. Now I don't know what I can say sow I say goodbye.”

I think it was a very nice play, in the beginning it was a bit boring. But then it was really funny. Also the costumes were very nice. The dialogues between the actors were very varied. Sometimes I didn't heard them that good but that's normal because I sat back. The audience participation also was great! The actors played many roles they did it good, but I like even more when every role has an other actor. I regretted that it was over. Because it was a really nice play!Thank you for your attention!”

The play of William B was truly amazing. I like the idea of a boy who has a lot of imagination. The characters were really funny to see. Sometimes the actors were using the audience and that was a good. William had a totaly awesome sense of humour. I am sure that I went to see another funy play of ETC. Because I love comedy's and other fun things. I'm sort of a second William B. Because almost everything is the same. Everything together: The performance was the funniest play i've ever saw. Thanks for coming to Belgium! ”

I really liked the play ! it was very good comedy ! I liked it that the actors, who perform very wel, came in to the public . The audiences were involved that was nice ! It also was clear I didn't have any problems to understand what was going on. The empathy of the actor who played William was amazing ! I really enjoyed the dialogues between William and Dennis . I think that all of this needed a lot of rehearsals. But it was worth it ! I hope I can see another play off you guys ! Thanks for the great performance !

On the 27th May the students of the 10th, 11th and 12th grades went to the school auditorium and saw the play Sherlock Holmes and The Case of the Missing Whatsit performed by ETC - The English Theatre Company. This comedy play was very enjoyable, interactive and stimulating and most students loved it! It was, indeed, full of humour, and it fondly parodied the world’s most famous “consulting detective”, Sherlock Holmes. It was, probably, the most comic play I've ever seen! I was very entertained for the whole time and laughed very hard. The cast was well chosen and the characterization of the actors was just perfect, especially Sherlock's hat! The actors didn’t use many props for acting, but the way they managed to evoke our imagination was simply AMAZING and inspirational! I just have two words for them: Simply Great! “”
