Passing Tales follows the story of Jo, an eleven year old girl spending the summer with her grandmother on the Isle of Skye.
With no neighbours nearby, no internet, no phone signal, no PlayStation and not even a working TV, Jo is convinced it’s going to be the most boring holiday ever.
There is however, a huge library, shelves filled with books that Jo’s grandmother read throughout her life.
With nothing else to do, Jo reads and reads and is drawn into the books until she finds herself in the stories themselves. Join Jo as she travels from page to page, through fantastical adventures, and dangerous encounters, whilst meeting some familiar characters along the way.
Passing Tales is a fast-paced, interactive comedy, where the audience actively helps Jo as she leaps from one tale to the next.
