Nick is a 12-year-old boy who really likes films. He really likes watching them and he really, really likes making them. He’s always carrying around this old camera his mother gave him, looking for something extraordinary to film: some interesting story. One day he finds more than he could have imagined when he meets The Doorman: the man with all the doors.

The Doorman, a figure both friendly and yet fierce, has every type of door, going anywhere you can imagine and he shows Nick how to go through them. Nick finds that each door takes him on a different adventure, and each adventure is in a different style of film: which of course he loves … until he’s had enough. How does he get back home? The Doorman showed him how to go out of the door, but how to get back?

The Doorman is a highly interactive, comic adventure story where the audience is directly involved in Nick’s escapades and the puzzle of how to return home.
